<p>PURPOSE:To increase purifying capacity of sewage, by conveying sewage with pressure by a pump and providing long strings for immobilizing microorganisms in a sewer pipe which is aerated inside. CONSTITUTION:An insertion pipe 13 is put inside the receive opening 12 of a sewer pipe 10 and a packing 14 is put between the inner periphery of the front end of the receive opening 12 and the outer periphery of the insertion pipe 13 to prevent water leakage between the receive opening 12 and the insertion pipe 13. A ring 20 is fitted to the step 18 formed in the inside of a flange 17 of receive opening 12 and the ends of long strings 19 for immobilizing microorganisms at the whole inner peripheral face of the ring 20. And an air layer is provided at the upper part of sewer pipe 10 to blow air by a compressor and also to decompose organic materials by means of microorganisms in the sewage 22 or on the surface of sewer pipe 10 immersed in the sewage 22. When the strings 19 are retained in the sewage 22, microorganisms are immobilized and the purifying area is increased and hence, the sewage is purified by the microbes immobilized on the strings as well and the purifying capacity is increased.</p> |
