<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a core from springing back so as to prevent a hose from wrinkling during forming by using a polyacetal in the core of a flexible hose main body made from an organic macromolecule. CONSTITUTION:This flexible hose for use with a vacuum cleaner and a washer comprises a flexible hose main body 1 made of an organic macromolecule and a core 2 made of a polyacetal strand, covered with an organic macromolecule adhering to the hose main body 1. The flexible hose is manufactured by overlapping the core of the uncovered polyacetal strand and a flexible, organic macromolecular tape, with the core sandwiched between the side edges of the tape, and winding them into a spiral. The sectional form of the core 2 and the pitch of the spiral are determined to match the sectional form and diameter of the hose and the difference between internal and external pressures, etc.</p> |
