PURPOSE:To obtain an antistatic resin molding reduced in the generation of static electricity and having good charge attenuation by integrally mixing a thermoplastic resin with a specified surfactant and coating the surface of a molding of the obtained mixture with a specified surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The production process comprises integrally mixing a thermoplastic resin with a nonionic surfactant to obtain a composition, molding this composition into a molding, and coating the surface of this molding with a solution, desirably an aqueous solution, of a mixture comprising a nonionic surfactant, an anionic surfactant and a synthetic ester (e.g. a polyethylene glycol/ fatty acid ester or a sorbitan ester). This process is suited especially for producing a baler twice from ribbed tapes prepared by extruding the composition into a film through a ribbing die, slitting the obtained film into narrow long strips, and stretching these strips. The amount of the integrally mixed surfactants is 0.1-0.5 pt.wt. per 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin, and the mixing ratio between the components of the above solution is usually such that each component is used in an amount of 10-70wt.%. |
