PURPOSE:To enhance durability by sintering atomized particles to form porous sintered spheres having a specified range of average particle diameter and a specified range of saturation magnetization. CONSTITUTION:The carrier having uniform spherical shapes, proper density, and good durability, is obtained without producing a small amt. of fine particles by sintering atomized particles composed of the magnetic powder and a binder resin, and still bulk density, magnification intensity, and resistivity can be freely selected by changing the sintering conditions, and image deffects, such as carrier attachment and striations, can be prevented without producing a fine powder by specifying the average particle diameter into the range of 30-200mum, and further, the control of saturation magnetization within 400-1,400emu/cm<3> can prevent carrier attachment when it is below 400emu/cm<3>, and deterioration of electrifiable amt. and striations when it is over 1,400emu/cm<3>. |
