The backrest (2) is fitted with a built-in head restraint (4) having a metal framework (8), connected to the backrest (2), and padding (5), this padding (5) has a first front part (6) rising up from the upper edge of the backrest and a second, rear part (7) which extends the first part (6) and is folded over downwards in order to define, between the two parts (6, 7), a cavity (9) which is accessible through an opening (10) made in the rear surface of the backrest (2). This cavity may accommodate a waterproof groundsheet (12) and may be closed by a piece of fabric (11) fastened using press studs. <IMAGE>
