PURPOSE:To eliminate displacement between mechanisms and to improve precision and attain size reduction by providing the detecting element of a position detecting means coaxially onto a control member which outputs the movement of a photographic lens in the form of the quantity of rotation and detecting the quantity of movement of the photographic lens from the angle of rotation. CONSTITUTION:A camera body 1 is provided with photographic optical systems 3 and 4 and AF optical systems 8a and 8b are provided on both sides of a finder optical system provided on the main body 1. A projecting element 8c is provided behind the optical system 8a and a photodetecting element 8d is provided behind the optical system 8b. A cam plate 71 is fixed on a cam member 53 which associates the optical systems 3 and 4, and 8a and 8b with each other, a detection brush plate 61 is implanted in the top surface of the cam plate 71, and the positions of the optical systems 3 and 4 are detected while converted into the quantities of rotation. A cam lever 73 is rotated following up the cam surface of the cam plate 71 and an element 8c slants to detect focusing from variation in the output of an element 8d. Thus, displacement between the optical systems 3 and 4, and 8a and 8b is eliminated to improve the precision and also reduce the size. |
