PURPOSE:To make a package of high temperature steamed rice wherein the rice is measured and bagged to be cooled immediately and grains of rice are separated in an aseptic environment into a dry state. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum-cooling packing machine for rice comprises a plurality of hatches 2, a housing 4 for a bag 3 with its mouth open with a certain quantity of rice which has just been steamed to have the starch gelatinized, vacuum- cooling part 5 for reducing a pressure inside the hatch 2 to maintain a vacuum of 690mmHg or higher for 10 to 30 minutes, a wrapping part 6 for introducing aseptic air into the hatch 2 to an atmospheric pressure for sealing the bag 3, a bag take-out part 7 for opening the hatch 2 and taking out the bag, and a cyclic moving part for moving the hatch 2 from the housing 4, through the vacuum-cooling part 5 and the wrapping part 6 to the bag take-out part 7 sequentially to make a cycle. |
