<p>PURPOSE:To prevent frictional electrification caused by a carrier guide rubbing against a transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A lower reaches carrier guide 9 with guide ribs 12 is disposed on the lower reaches in the sheet conveying direction from an opposed part between a photoconductor drum 1 and a transfer roller 7. The upper face upper reaches side end part 9b of the guide 9 is set in a lower position than the approach path of a sheet P to the carrier guide upper face 9a, and the carrier guide 9 is formed of synthetic resin with the higher resistance value than the resistance value of the sheet P. In addition, it is so constituted that the sheet P electrostatically sucked to the transfer area of the drum surface, after being detached from the drum surface, is conveyed without coming in contact with the upper face upper reaches side end part 9b of the carrier guide 9. The rib mark of the sheet P caused by the frictional electrification of the carrier guide 9 is thereby prevented, and impact at the time of the rear end of the sheet P leaving the transfer part is relaxed so as to prevent image slippage.</p> |
