<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking and the piling of dusts in a flue, in the treatment of waste gas in a converter in a converter waste gas wet type dust collector system provided with the side-way flue. CONSTITUTION:Water spraying nozzles 16A, 17A are arranged in the flues 16, 17 to spray the water containing a CaCO3 dispersing agent. The CaCO3 dispersing agent is adsorbed on CaCO3 precipitated from a circulating water by action of the sprayed circulating water or further, of the converter waste gas. Then, the sticking force of the dusts to the wall surface of the flue is reduced by restraining the crystal growth and the formation of a large quantity of hard crystallized scale layer including the dusts and the growth thereof are prevented. Cleaning frequency of the flue is reduced and the continuous operation for a long time can be executed.</p> |
