<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of a large impact sound by resonance at the time of hitting a ball and to suppress an increase in weight as well by attaching fur materials via an adhesive to the inner peripheral surface of a cavity formed in the head body of a golf club head having the head body internally formed with the hollow cavity. CONSTITUTION:This golf club head 1 has the head body 3 internally formed with the hollow cavity 2. A shaft 6 is inserted and fixed into a mounting hole 5 formed in a neck part 4 of the head body 3. The golf club head 1 is flocked with many flocking materials 8 via the adhesive 7 on the inner peripheral surface of the cavity 2 formed within the head body 3. The resonance is suppressed by the sound absorbing effect by the internal flocking materials 8 and the generation of the impact sound and clattering sounds is suppressed when the ball is hit by the golf club head 1. The generation of the metallic sounds of the head body 3 is suppressed as well even when the head body consists of metal. An inconvenience of rendering a player an uncomfortable feel is prevented as well.</p> |
