PURPOSE:To efficiently finish outer surfaces of a metal bar material and a tube material in which high straightness, circularity, size accuracy and surface accuracy are required. CONSTITUTION:Roller groups 3 which are burnishing tools of a roller burnishing device for providing finishing work of the outer surface of a work piece 1 (a metal bar material or a tube material) are mounted in a plurality of steps. At that time, it is preferred to make depressure amount adjusted for each roller group. Roller burnishing work is repeated plural times in a series of the works during roller burnishing. This work becomes effective especially when the work is applied to an aluminium or aluminium alloy bar material and a tube material. |
