The door is mounted to pivot around a fixed vertical axis (X) so that it can be opened in both direction by pushing, with a mid position which is closed, and closes itself after it has been opened. The mechanism has a driving plate pin (3). Which is fixed to the door (1), slightly off centre from the axis (X), a cam (4) mounted so that it pivots freely around the axis (X) at the same height as the pin. The spring (6,8) is placed between a fixed point (A) and the point (B) on the cam so that it constantly pushes the cam against the driving plate pin (3) and pushes it back into the position in which the door is closed. ADVANTAGE - Allows simplified construction and reduced costs. |
