Device for preventing theft of a vehicle. This device is based on the use of a microprocessor having suitable software. It consists of a casing having connectors for connecting to the vehicle, an engine disabling circuit, information interface (extension) circuits and data acquisition circuits. The software of the microprocessor allows recording of a secret code, a blocking code as well as time delay. The device is particularly intended for protecting any motor vehicles.
