PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer sheet with a dye layer having excellent reproducibility of flesh color, by adding a magenta hue dye obtained by mixing two kinds of dyes of a specific structure in a specific ratio and polyethylene wax particles to a magenta dye layer of the sheet on a base sheet. CONSTITUTION:In this thermal transfer sheet 1 having a magenta dye layer 12M on a base sheet 11, the magenta dye layer 12M contains a magenta hue dye obtained by mixing dyes represented by the formulae I and II in the range of the weight content ratio 10:90-50:50, and polyethylene wax particles. Accordingly, the obtained thermal transfer sheet has the magenta dye layer which exhibits particularly excellent effect to reproduce the flesh color. |
