PURPOSE:To provide a heavy object packing device into which the projecting prongs of a forklift can be inserted from the four sides and which provides the pallet good in operational efficiency at the time of loading and unloading, prevents binding bands from raising from a flat plate of the pallet at the time of binding and keeps the binding bands from being cut off by the projecting prongs of the forklift. CONSTITUTION:By using binding bands 4, a packing device fastens together a pallet 2 formed of wood frame, supporting plates 5 and 9 laid on the wood frame, a number of heavy objects 6 placed on the supporting plates, intermediate supporting plates 5 and 10 placed on the heavy objects, a number of heavy objects 6 placed on the intermediate supporting plate and a top panel 11 placed on a stack of the heavy objects 6. The pallet 2 is provided with openings 20 for receiving the projecting prongs of the forklift on the four sides and a contact plate 17 for contacting with the binding bands 4 on its underside. |
