Suspension assembly for preassembled cables intended for supporting the neutral cable (50) which carries the other cables and is of the type comprising a support provided with a ring which engages with a clip supporting a hook (10) intended to receive the said cable (50), characterised in that it includes a cradle (20) made of insulating material, having the shape of a gutter, the said cradle (20) being, on the one hand, intended to receive the cable (50) and, on the other hand, to be inserted into the hook (10), means being provided for fixing the cradle in a stand-by position on the hook (10) in which position the said cradle is remote from the bottom of the said hook (10) and in which position the cable (50) may be introduced, the introduction (20) of the cable in the cradle (50) causing the latter to move towards the bottom of the hook (10) and locking means (40) being provided so that, when the cradle is brought towards the bottom of the hook, the cradle (50) is locked in place. <IMAGE>
