摘要 PURPOSE:To rapidly, simply and efficiently carry out the detection of an RNA with a good accuracy by bringing a sample containing an RNA to be tested and a labeled probe into contact with a specific capture probe, carrying out the hybridization and detecting a labeling substance in the labeled probe bound to the RNA to be tested. CONSTITUTION:This method for detecting an RNA comprises preparing an inverted complementary strand DNA or RNA in a partial sequence (A) of >=10 specific bases in the base sequence of an RNA to be tested and an inverted complementary strand DNA or RNA in a partial sequence (B) of >=10 bases present near the partial sequence (A) on the RNA to be tested, immobilizing either thereof as a capture probe on a carrier, labeling the other with a labeling substance such as digoxigenin or biotin, providing a labeled probe, bringing a sample containing the RNA to be tested and the labeled probe into contact with a capture probe immobilized on the carrier, hybridizing the RNA to be tested with the capture probe and labeled probe and detecting the labeling substance in the labeled probe bound to the RNA to be tested.
