PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire wherein drainage performance deteriorated after the middle of tire abrasion can be enhanced by suitably arranging a belt reinforcing layer, CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire 1, at least two layer belts 4 tilted and so arranged as to intersect the flat surface, at least one layer belt reinforcing layer 5 wherein organic fiber cords are spirally arranged so as to surround the belt 4, substantially parallel to the flat surface and a tread part 6 are provided outward from a carcass 3 composed of at least one ply wherein a cord is so arranged as to substantially intersect a flat surface 2 including the tire circumference at right angles. And in the pneumatic tire wherein this tread part is divided into a center area 7 and both side areas 8, 9, and a center area flat part 11 sectioned by a plurality of circumferential main grooves 10 parallel to the flat surface is provided on the center area, parts 13 of the belt reinforcing layer is so arranged as to be unevenly distributed in the radial direction outward from the abrasion remaining groove depth position of the circumferential main grooves according to the center area flat part. |
