<p>A self-contained, battery operated, external vacuum device (24) includes an electric motor with an eccentric output shaft coupled with a reciprocating diaphragm pump in a common housing with the electric motor and batteries. A housing vacuum port (38) is removably mounted in-line on a reversible coupler (22), which in turn is received in an open end of a vacuum chamber (20) for receiving a user's flaccid penis for vacuum engorgement therapy. The reversible coupler (22) includes a pair of concentric annular extensions (48 and 50) for establishing a vacuum seal with the housing vacuum port (38). A reverse side of coupler includes an extended coupling nipple (42) for alternate vacuum seal attachment with tubing connected to a manual pump. The vacuum chamber (20) is tapered towards the penis introducing end to facilitate the full engorgement of the glans penis.</p> |
