The covering cap, which is matched in terms of colour to the associated bathtub or basin, and the dish of a valve plug form a constructional unit which is detachably connected to the shaft projecting into the bush. Consequently, both can be made from corresponding plastic without a combination of both parts to be carried out retrospectively being necessary. The sealing ring (washer) preferably used is a lip sealing ring, which ensures the necessary sealing even after only little insertion into the bush. <IMAGE>
