<p>A remedy for Parkinson's disease, which contains a polycyclic compound represented by general formula (I) or (II), or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as the active ingredient. In formula (I) R1 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or lower alkanoyl; R2 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or heterocycle; R3 represents heterocycle; X represents a single bond, O, S, S(O), S(O)¿2? or NR?4¿, wherein R4 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, etc.; and A represents N or CR5, wherein R5 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl. In formula (II) R6 represents aryl or heterocycle; Y represents O, S or NR7, wherein R7 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl; R8 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or heterocycle; and B represents together with the two neighboring groups a mono- or bicyclic carbon or hetero ring.</p> |
