The invention relates to a safety fixing system for equipment support panel, particularly for television sets. The panel PT is fixed to a panel-support tube 3 fitting into a support-tube 2 up to a stop formed by a sleeve 6 fixed to the panel-support tube. A mandrel 4 is integral with the support tube and comprises a housing 40 for a lock 5 whose bolt 50 engages in a hole 20 of the support-tube 2 and in a facing horizontal opening 30 in the panel-support tube 3 in such a way as to allow a certain relative rotation of the two tubes and to prevent the extraction of the panel-support tube when the lock is locked. The invention applies particularly to television sets for community premises.
