PURPOSE:To make it possible in an air conditioner provided with multiple selection switches for instructing operation modes to switch to a desired mode even if any one of the selection switches is stuck to the on condition due to malfunction by providing multiple decision means. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner 1 is provided, at its operation section 3 for instructing operation mode switching of the main body 2 of the air conditioner, with a fan operation switch 4 and a switch unit 5 and others having multiple selection switches 51 through 58 for instructing operation mode switching of the main body 2. Here are provided a first decision unit 6 for discriminating switches that are on among the selection switches 51 through 58 and a second decision unit 7 for discriminating the switch that has been lastly turned on among the selection switches 51 through 58. It is made that the output of the first decision unit 6 is selected when the operation switch 4 is operated and that the output of the second decision unit 7 is selected when any one of the selection switches is operated respectively by means of a selection means 8. |
