Seed drill, especially direct-sowing drill, with a frame (3), running wheels (6) and a supply container, chisel coulters being arranged on the frame (3) in a manner staggered in succession in at least two transverse rows or there being arranged on the frame (3) disc coulters loadable with a coulter pressure of at least up to a 100 kg and arranged staggered in succession in at least two transverse rows. The frame has a basic frame (2) with a width of max. 3 m and side frames (3) articulated on the latter on both sides by means of folding joints (9) and having seed coulters (11) arranged thereon. Provided on each side of the basic frame (2) are two mutually pivotable side frames (3) movable relative to the basic frame (2) and capable of being folded on the latter (Figure 2).
