Valve, in particular for medical technology, for regulating the respiratory flow during pulmonary (lung) diagnostics, having a flow tube of round cross-section and a closure element which closes said flow tube and is guided movably and loosely in a cylindrical guide member which is arranged on the flow tube and provided with at least one exit opening. The closure element consists at least partially of magnetic, in particular permanent magnetic material and can be transferred reversibly from an opening position into a closing position by means of an exciting element.
