Housing or booth for accommodating a machine tool, comprising a roof consisting of a zigzag or corrugated profile and inclined in the direction of the prominences and recesses of the zigzag or corrugated profile, a liquid-collecting trough arranged under the lowest point of the roof and extending transversely to the direction of the prominences and recesses of the zigzag or corrugated profile, and, starting from the lowest point of the roof above the liquid-collecting trough, liquid-collecting troughs extending under each of the recesses of the zigzag or corrugated profile over at least part of the length of the recesses.
