In a known radial piston hydraulic motor the capacity is determined by means of the piston diameter and stroke of the said radial pistons and is thereby limited due to the eccentricity of the eccentric pins. In order to give a hydrostatic machine the facility for advantageous achievement of the displacement capacity, precise adjustment of the timings and improved efficiency and a reduced noise level, a plurality of slide valves (5) are arranged so that they can swivel in the housing (1) and are positively connected to the oscillating disc (8), the chambers (9) formed being connected to control pistons (18) in the timing cover (2). Each control piston (18) bears at the end face on the said oscillating disc (8) and is connected by way of ports (19; 20) to ring passages (25; 26) in the timing cover (2) for admission and discharge of the hydraulic medium. Hydrostatic machines of the said type are preferably suited to the achievement of low-speed hydraulic motors with high torques according to Fig. 1. <IMAGE>
