<p>In the method according to the invention a network of water pipes (8) is arranged between at least two preselected locations where ground water can be pumped up in a manner such that each location of an ith(2 « i « N) layer is connected to a location of an i-1th layer which is situated at a higher altitude and has a ground water table at a higher altitude. The hydrostatic pressure of the water pumped up in the first location is used as energy source for pumping up water in the second location. In this way, by making an appropriate selection of locations, in particular first of all by remote sensing, water can be extracted with less energy or even without using any external energy source.</p> |
