Method for controlling a drive device connected to a program-controlled device and used for digital data media in the form of tape
摘要
A drive device (DAT) for digital data media (BD) in the form of tape is used as a mass storage device for a program-controlled device, in particular of a communications system. Files, a file catalogue (DK) and a metafile catalogue (MDK) are stored on the data medium in the specified order. Since writing access to the data medium results in all the following stored information becoming invalid, it is thus possible to change the file catalogue (DK) without destroying file information. <IMAGE>
