Multi-bar lock with electric drive

A multi-bar lock exhibits a separate electric drive for locking-bar and push-rod actuation. A lock case (3) comprises a lock cylinder (4) for actuating a rod (14) which engages into an electric control means (8) for an electric motor (12) in a separate housing (7). Said housing (7) encloses all the electric components (control means (8), shaft controls (10, 11), electric motor (12)). The electric motor (12) is connected to the lock case (3) via a similar rod (20), the rod (20) engaging into a gear mechanism (5) which drives the locking bars (6, 28) and the push rod (2).
