Cooling liquid circuit for a motor vehicle which is led via the internal combustion engine and equipped with a latent-heat storage system (PCM device)

The basic design includes a cooling liquid feed line (delivery line, supply line) coming from the internal combustion engine and leading to the latent-heat storage system, a cooling liquid drain line leading to the internal combustion engine from the latent-heat storage system, a bypass line which connects the cooling liquid feed line and the cooling liquid drain line, a three-way control valve and a control device for the three-way control valve. Arranged in the cooling liquid drain line and/or in the cooling liquid feed line is a sensor device which is connected to the control device and by means of which the electrical conductivity of the cooling water can be measured directly or indirectly. In the event of a deviation of the actual value of the electrical conductivity from the prescribed desired value, said control device shortcircuits the latent-heat storage system via the three-way control valve.
