Apparatus for the washing and/or cleaning of bundles

For the washing and/or cleaning of bundles, there is proposed a transport device designed as a single central endless chain with drivers which grasps centrally the bundles to be transported. The endless chain is arranged in a vertical plane, the bundle feed station being arranged in an upper tier and the bundle delivery station in a lower tier located immediately underneath it, and the bundles being guided from the upper tier into the lower tier via a deflecting device. A guide-linkage arrangement provided on both sides of the chain and located on the upper and the lower tier and in the transition between the two tiers is adjustable in width to standard bundles of different width, can be actuated centrally for the entire apparatus from the feed/delivery point and has adjustable nozzle arrangements.
