A mounting collar has a lower cylindrical recess 1 which can be fitted over the top of a traffic post. There is also an upper recess 2 which is partly circular but which extends on one side as a rectangular shape 3. The circular part of the recess 2 can thus receive a lamp holder of circular form. A rectangular lamp holder would be received within the recess so as to extend across the circular part and into the rectangular portion 3. An upwardly projecting flange 6 provides a mounting for a bolt which may be used to lock a rectangular lamp holder in place. This flange can be modified to extend round to the position 7 to provide means to secure a circular lamp holder in position also. An alternative form of collar has a curved portion projecting from the side of the rectangular portion. Projecting from the collar are three U-shaped brackets 8 for receiving and supporting the ends of planks. <IMAGE> |
