A wheel-electrical motor assembly for rail and tram vehicles is disclosed, in which to the wheel-hub and to the stationary axle relatively to the bogie, the inductor and the armature of a high-pole-number, synchronous motor are fastened, in order to provide a bogie with distributed drive and reduced overall dimensions
