In the Hangul processing method of teletext, the method improves the processing time per character by using pattern ROM. The pattern ROM is located in the partial region of a program ROM. Using this method, font data reading time is faster than other methods and program is more easily made out. This method uses a buffer (20) that latches the first address data and outputs it, a program ROM (30) that outputs program data, a pattern ROM (40) that outputs font data.
