Improvements in or relating to door hinge mechanisms

A door hinge mechanism hinging a door along one side thereof comprises a door frame, and a pair of door mounting members. The door is pivotally attached to the members at points along the length of the downturned ends and at positions spaced from the edge of one side. Helical springs associated with the members bias the latter so as to exert a closing force on the door. During opening and closing movement of the door the edge slides along the adjacent surface of the door frame. Detent means (now shown) may be incorporated to hold the door in a partly open position and further detent means may be incorporated to hold the mounting members in the open position while the whole door is removed for cleaning.
