Cycloolefin resin pellets of the present invention comprises a cycloolefin resin pellet comprising at least one cycloolefin resin selecting from (A) a cycloolefin random copolymer of ethylene and a specific cycloolefin, (B) a ring-opening (co)polymer of the specific cycloolefin and (C) a hydrogenation product of the ring-opening (co)polymer (B), and a powdery coating material and/or a liquid coating material, the melting point or the glass transition point of the coating material being 200 DEG C or lower, and the coating material being adhered onto the surface of the cycloolefin resin pellets, so that the molded product thereof is excellent in transparency.
