PURPOSE:To obtain the data transmission equipment which enables a terminal device to obtain desired information data in a shorter wait time. CONSTITUTION:In a KARAOKE system 1, a center 3 and plural KARAOKE terminal devices 5 are connected by a coaxial cable 7. The center 3 divides all KARAOKE data stored in a storage device 13 into plural channels in a certain time and sends them to the KARAOKE terminal devices 5 in order without reference to whether or not music is requested on the KARAOKE terminal devices 5. The KARAOKE terminal device 5, on the other hand, judges whether or not the sequentially sent KARAOKE data are data on requested music by a control part and when the data are the data on the requested music, the KARAOKE data are reproduced to perform a KARAOKE performance process for outputting accompaniment music and a text image.
