<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a foreign body such as water or the like from creeping into a joint connector, to make a component small and lightweight and to make the density of an interconnection high by a method wherein the joint connector is coupled inside a waterproof cover in an electric connection box formed so as to be covered with a waterproof cover. CONSTITUTION:A joint connector 6 is coupled in a space formed between the bottom wall 3b of a lower cover 3 for a relay box and a relay housing part 2 so that the joint connector 6 can be made waterproof and that the space inside the lower cover 3 is utilized. In this case, the joint connector 6 which has connected housings 12 to each other is coupled to the inner wall 3c of the lower cover 3 while a coupling groove formed in the inner wall 3c of the lower cover 3 is coupled to a protrusion stripe for coupling of the housings 12 at a lower end part. Thereby, a waterproof effect is obtained without forming a particular waterproof structure in the joint connector itself, and waterproof components such as a rubber packing, a grommet and the like and their mounting operation can be made inessential.</p> |
