摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To monitor the traffic flow of an aircraft automatically by a method wherein a laser light is refracted with a beam splitter buried into a taxiway and the light refracted is modulated with a fine vibrator and the reflected light from a tire is received with a photosensor to discriminate a position on the taxiway from the amplitude of the light. CONSTITUTION:Beam splitters 21-30 are buried parallel with a stop bar 3 set on a taxiway 1 and a laser light 11a passing is analyzed spectrally into a straight beam 11b and a vertical refracted beam 11c to be modulated with fine vibrators 31-40. Hemispherical cup devices 51-60 are set on a ground surface part of the taxiway 1 to opened at the upper part thereof and a through hole is provided at the lower part thereof to pass the refracted beam 11c. When the upper part is intercepted by a tire 61 of aircraft 4 or a moving vehicle, photosensors 41-50 set inside the hemispheres of the cup devices 51-60 sense the reflected beam on the time 61 to identify the amplitude or the frequency of a light wave. Thus, it is judged on which beam splitter the aircraft 4 or the moving vehicle passes among those 21-30.</p>
