<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cable reel by which free rotation of both housings can be locked reliably when a lock member is installed and the lock member can be simply removed as needed. CONSTITUTION:An elastic arm 16 having a locking claw 15 and an engaging groove 13 are formed in a lock member 10, and this locking claw 15 is locked in a snap on an engaging wall 17 arranged in the first housing. The engaging groove 13 is engaged with an engaging projection 18 arranged in the second housing. Thereby, free rotation of both housings is checked, and when this is incorporated into a steering device, snap locking between the locking claw 15 and the engaging wall 17 is released automatically by a lock releasing part arranged on the steering column side.</p> |
