PURPOSE:To make a device more small in size and low in cost without impairing excellent and stable fixing performance by constituting a heat-resistant fixed elastic member of an elastic body impregnated with liquid releasing agent and a film for controlling the infiltration of the releasing agent which covers the surface of the elastic body and whose area corresponding to a nip part, at least, consists of a porous film. CONSTITUTION:The heat-resistant fixed elastic member 2 is constituted of the elastic body 7 impregnated with the liquid releasing agent and the film 8 for controlling the infiltration of the releasing agent which covers the surface of the elastic body 7 and whose area corresponding to the nip part, at least, consists of the porous film. The elastic body constituting the elastic member 2 must be a substance which can be impregnated with the liquid releasing agent and can obtain pressure required for fixing when it is allowed to press-contact with a heating roll 1. A porous body or a foaming body can be used as the material of the elastic body, for example, rubber material is examplified. The film 8 is formed so that the proper amount of releasing agent is supplied at least, to the nip part. |
