PURPOSE:To execute voice guidance to meet the constitution of a branch road. CONSTITUTION:A voice expression selection processing part 14 recognizes a route by means of data from a route memory 10. Then, in the case of arriving at a branch point, it is judged whether a guided route is a road extending as it is or not in accordance with number of connection roads data, connection angle data, and connection road width data from a branch point data storage part 16. Then, in the case that it is the road extending as it is, guidance is inhibited. Accordingly, the voice guidance to fit the feeling of a driver can be executed, and favorable route guidance can be executed. |
