PURPOSE:To improve operability by moving a cursor to a cell on the succeeding line and column at the time of inputting data to a cell on a certain line and column other than last column and the lowermost line, and at the time of inputting data to a cell on the last column/lowermost line, holding the cursor without moving it to the leading column/leading row. CONSTITUTION:When the position of the cursor 7 is not the 1st column or the lowermost line, data in a temporary input area 8 are displayed on a cell 6 arranged on the position of the cursor 7 and the cursor 7 is moved to a cell 6 on the succeeding data input area. At the time of judging that the position of the cursor 7 is the last column or lowermost line, which mode is set up for the cursor 7, a moving mode or a fixed mode, is judged, and at the time of judging the fixed mode, data in the area 8 are displayed on the cell 6 corresponding to the cursor 7 on the final column or the lowermost line.
