PURPOSE:To obtain a device making automatic clearing to each of plural functions by adding the selection clear mode to an automatic clear means in addition to the all clear mode and initializing automatically only the designated function. CONSTITUTION:When no operation is conducted to a device connecting to an external device having various functions for constant time, only the set function is automatically cleared, and after clear is conducted, the fact that automatic clearing is made is displayed on a display section 301 of a reader section 1 for prescribed time. The display section 301 becomes a surface touch panel and acts as a selection key by touching the surface and either the all clear mode or the selection clear mode is selected. Thus, the automatic clearing processing by the composite function is conducted distinguishingly. |
