PURPOSE:To considerably avoid wasteful operation in a stereoscopic picture processor and to improve the processing speed. CONSTITUTION:A hidden surface processor in the stereoscopic picture processor displaying a three-dimensional solid on a two-dimensional screen is provided with a memory 11 storing a polygon surface normal vector, vector rotational circuits 15-17 rotating a line of sight vector in a direction inverse to the rotation of an object and a judgement circuit 18 which inner performs product on the polygon surface normal vector and the line of sight vector which is rotation- processed and decides whether a polygon can be viewed or not by the inner product value. Only the visible polygon is three-dimensionally plotting-processed. |
