PURPOSE:To provide a developing device capable of providing a stable image by preventing the scattering of toner from the end part of a developing roller. CONSTITUTION:In the developing device having the developing roller 31 carrying a developer and being rotated to supply and stick the developer onto a latent image carrier 1, a toner supplying roller 32 which is is press-contact with the developing roller 31, rotated and shorter in a longitudinal direction, than the developing roller and side seals 37 provided on the side of the toner supplying roller 32 on both end parts of the developing roller 31, a Mylar(R)-like sealing member 38 is provided among the side seal 37, the developing roller 31 and the toner supplying roller 32. The sealing member 38 is closely stuck to the developing roller, the side seal 37 and an inlet seal, so that a gap is hardly generated, the toner jetted out from the end part of the toner supplying roller is shut off and the scattering of the toner can be reduced. |
