PURPOSE:To provide a base station position guiding device providing position information of adjacent base stations upon the request from a mobile station and guiding the position of the adjacent base stations to the user of the mobile station. CONSTITUTION:Mobile stations PS1-PS3 transmit a position information request message according to the operation of the user and base stations CS1-CS3 add identification information of the base station to the position information request message and transfer the result to an exchange station XS. Furthermore, the exchange station XS reads position information relating to adjacent base stations to the base station represented in the identification number added to the position information request message from a base station position guidance information database and informs the information to the request source mobile station. Thus, even when base stations are in existence distributingly and it is not known where call reception and dialing of the mobile station are made available, since the mobile station gets position information relating to adjacent base stations via the base station available of communication at present, the user recognizes an area available of call reception and dialing of the mobile station in advance.
