PURPOSE:To obtain a fault detecting equipment contributing to the operation of power systems by estimating the causes of a fault through the arithmetic processing based on voltage and current information of power system, judging information of protection relay section and operation information of circuit breakers. CONSTITUTION:Voltage and current information on power systems 1 and 2 is obtained from a voltage transformer 5, a current transformer 6, 80a and 80b, estimation is made by arithmetic processing by an arithmetic control section 40 based on the information stated above, judging information of a protection relay section 10 and the operation information of breaker manipulation section 20, and the results of the estimation are output from an arithmetic output section by using a printer 60. |
