<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic toner for MICR giving a toner image which peels hardly even under repeated sliding on a magnetic head at the time of magnetic reading, hardly causing the deterioration of image quality, the stain of the image or the contamination of the magnetic head and capable of precise magnetic reading and signal recognition. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic toner for MICR is a magnetic toner contg. a bonding resin, a magnetic substance and polyolefin and contains 0.01-10wt.% silicone oil treated silica as an additive. The silicone oil treated silica preferably has 50-400m<2>/g BET specific surface area and 3-20wt.% carbon content. The residual magnetization of this magnetic toner is preferably 4.0-7.0emu/g. The polyolefin in this toner is preferably polyethylene, the average particle diameter is preferably 0.01-0.5mum and the content is 1-10wt.%.</p> |
